Apply the theories and processes to facilitate local government elections US

This unit standard is for learners working within a local government structure, who participate in municipal governance and have been elected as municipal councillors, where the acquisition of competence against this standard will add value to one's job and managerial capabilities. The completion of this standard will provide the learner with knowledge of how elections are conducted and an insight into the proportional electoral system used at national and provincial level.

The qualifying learner is capable of:
